even tho I read many casual references from people who say 'I changed my boot drive to an SS drive, but no details. Spent hours trying to follow their steps, but nothing worked. I was able to boot the original drive again, and made a new backup with other software (microsoft etc) I searched for info and found dozens of articles, full of complicated detailed info. So as I like to learn and understand new things, I decided to go back to basics. I realized that since I was using Free Macrium this was because of limitations on the free version. I restored my latest backup to a new SS drive, but Surprise !! It wouldn't boot. I have been computing for many years, but have never had to restore my boot drive to another drive.
